Wine, cheese, and culinary arts: Each Peach Market's flavors delight locals

WASHINGTON (7News) — Each Peach Market is a woman-owned market like no other. The business is thriving in Mount Pleasant, run by two long-time friends who dreamt of starting their own shop. Co-owners Jeanlouise Conaway and Emily Friedberg joined Good Morning Washington to chat about their vast selection of goods.

The gourmet market features fresh bread, wines, soups, dips, and local fruits and vegetables. With a seasonally inspired menu that changes through the year, there is something for everybody to enjoy.

The market focuses on creating an atmosphere where anyone can appreciate fresh foods. “We’re trying to inspire people to eat and enjoy eating,” said Conaway. “We’re really trying to make it a symphony of the senses.”

Each Peach Market has a set of expert employees to guide shoppers through learning how to cook, love food, and pick the perfect ingredients. Classes are hosted twice a month at the market centered around wine and cheese pairings.
