WASHINGTON, D.C. (7News) — It will be nice to see the sunshine on Tuesday, but dress warmly with unseasonably low temperatures and gusty winds adding a chill to the air. High temperatures will be a good 15 degrees below average, with highs struggling to reach 50 degrees in some neighborhoods. With the wind, dress for wind chills in the 30s for much of the day.
Plan for a very cold night ahead, with some neighborhoods falling below freezing.

After a very cold start, Wednesday's wake-up temperatures will be in the 20s and 30s. Plan for a sun-filled day with cool highs in the lower to middle 50s.
Thursday will be mostly cloudy with a chance for afternoon showers. Winds may become gusty at times. Showers becoming more widespread Friday with another soaker possible.
