Washington (7News) — Finally, skies will brighten this Sunday, and it's looking like temperatures will be the warmest in a week.
The first part of the next weather maker will move through overnight and bring a little rain between 1 a.m. and 4 a.m. on Tuesday.
The cold front of this system may bring some strong to severe thunderstorms Monday night into Tuesday morning.
The severe thunderstorm threat is currently highest west of Hagerstown, Maryland, down to Winchester, Virginia. First Alert Weather will monitor for any changes.
Ahead of the front on Monday, temperatures will warm into the lower 70s, but with plenty of clouds.
Behind the front on Tuesday, we'll cool back into the 60s with windy conditions.
