If you're heading to the parade, you'll want the warm rain gear.

Our latest futurecast shows a pocket of showers over D.C. at 11 a.m. Saturday. This is just a simulation of the radar. Your best bet is to track the wet weather on your First Alert Weather app throughout the day.

Even if there isn't steady rain falling, there will likely be areas of drizzle and dampness. You'll certainly want an umbrella and a warm rain jacket.

Temperatures will be well below average for April, with temperatures hovering in the upper 40s to low 50s through the parade.

A breezy northerly wind will also add an extra chill to the air. Wind gusts will be around 20 mph, so it won't be too windy for the inflatable balloons that will be making their way down the parade route.
