DUBLIN, Ohio (WKRC) - Fast-food chain Wendy's threw Katy Perry on a hot grill with a blistering X post following her return from a historic space flight.

According to The New York Post, Wendy's had a teasing reaction to Katy Perry's return from the historic, all-female Blue Origin space flight, which launched from Texas Monday morning with Jeff Bezos's rocket company, Blue Origin.

Wendy's commented "Can we send her back" on a now-viral post from Pop Crave Monday that announced Katy Perry's returned from space later that day.

The shade thrown by Wendy's has received mixed reactions from commenters, with one writing, "This is why you are superior to Arby's," and another calling the comment "weird and unprofessional."

"I'm not a fast food person, but I'll come to you from now on," one commenter on X wrote.

"thats why nobody goes to wendys anymore," another wrote.

"Wendy isn't pulling punches today," another added on the trending post.

Blue Origin NS-31 was the company's 11th manned spaceflight and included Jeff Bezos' fiancée Lauren Sanchez, singer Katy Perry, TV journalist Gayle King, former NASA rocket scientist who now heads an engineering firm, Aisha Bowe, research scientist Amanda Nguyen and movie producer Kerianne Flynn.

The flight was the first female-only crew since the former Soviet Union launched Valentina Tereshkova into in 1963. She was the first woman to go to space, with her solo mission lasting just under three days, according to The National News Desk.
