Lunchbox Weather at Watkins ES in Southeast D.C.

WASHINGTON (7News) — Meteorologist Alex Liggitt visited Catherine R. Watkins Elementary School in Southeast D.C. for our Lunchbox Weather program. He spoke to the students about the life of a broadcast meteorologist before taking them outside to see our StormTrak7 vehicle.

The students loved the cameras positioned on the truck and a few lucky students were able to sit inside and experience what it is like to report live from the passenger seat! Thank you so much for having StormWatch7 to your school!
