Skagit County has just begun the process of forming a coalition and our initial meeting included representatives fro the local DSHS-CSO, United Way, Catholic Community Services of Western Washington, Skagit County Community Action Agency, North Coast Credit Union, Anacortes Family Shelter, Friendship House and WSU-Extension Small Farm program.

Goals
- Explore community interest and support to form and maintain an Asset Development Coalition.
- Explore integration of Asset Development program goals into existing community programs which promote self-sufficiency.
- Continue providing education and outreach activities to interested community members to enhance financial literacy and coaching services for limited income community members.
