WABC is governed by a 13 person Steering Group led by co-chairs Cheryl Sesnon (Washington CASH executive director) and Todd Pietzsch (BECU Marketing VP) representing the non-profit and financial sectors respectively. The Steering Group meets monthly and ensures leadership and accountability for the actions of WABC goal action teams. WABC’s Policy Team is represented by at least one policy chair from each of our 15 local asset building coalitions.
The four sub-committees represent the following WABC goals:
- Create a range of private and public prosperity products for asset building;
- Develop and promote public and lending policies for asset building;
- Market savings, smart borrowing and benefits like the EITC; and
- Expand financial literacy opportunities and outcomes across the state
