1. Expand asset building capacity by recruiting one Americorps and one VISTA Volunteer.
2. Increase EITC filings by 10% from tax year 2007 by establishing additional tax preparation sites, expanded outreach and additional coordination with service providers, religious organizations and governmental organizations.
3. Create a community based financial education model for middle school students.
4. Sponsor monthly 1st time Homeownership classes taught by Washington State Housing Finance Commission trained instructors.
5. Create a “Banked the Unbanked” partnership providing financial education training and opening at least ten (10) new accounts.
6. Publish monthly financial education/money awareness columns in a local newspaper.
