- Contacting community partners/organizations to make presentations about the Kitsap Asset Building Coalition to promote awareness and encourage new membership.
- Established an EITC committee to work on 2010 campaign and increase marketing plan to expand outreach. Two EITC events were planned: Survive & Thrive event on Nov 6, 2010 with free credit reports and credit counseling and all Coalition partners present with their financial resources. Second event - Super Saturday is coming up on Feb 12, 2011 to offer free AARP tax preparation and free credit reports, along with all kinds of financial resources available in Kitsap County.
- Established a Bank-On committee that meets regularly. Researched other Bank-On programs and will be making contact with financial institutions in Kitsap County. Committee will meet with new members to develop a banking product for our program. Working on a marketing plan for this project.
