TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (CBS12) — One of the victims killed at Florida State University (FSU) has been identified as his family hired attorneys.
On Friday, the Strom Law Firm — based in Columbia, South Carolina — said 45-year-old Tiru Chabba was one of the victims killed in Thursday's mass shooting at Florida State University.
Chabba is survived by his wife and two children. The father of two was on the FSU campus as an employee of a campus vendor when the shooting took place, according to the firm. Authorities identified the shooter as 20-year-old FSU student Phoenix Ikner, who opened fire shortly before noon, killing Chabba and one other person, and five others.

The family aims to hold accountable all those responsible for the tragic event, according to the law firm.
"Tiru Chabba’s family is going through the unimaginable now," said Attorney Bakari Sellers. "Instead of hiding Easter eggs and visiting with friends and family, they’re living a nightmare where this loving father and devoted husband was stolen from them in an act of senseless and preventable violence."
