WASHINGTON, D.C. (7News) — Following two triple shootings on Friday, officers from the Metropolitan Police Department are investigating a double shooting in Southeast D.C.
Around 9:23 a.m., Seventh District officers responded to a shooting in the 2200 block of Savannah Street, Southeast.
Upon arrival, officers found two adult male victims who were conscious and breathing but suffering from gunshot wounds. The victims were transported to local hospitals by DC Fire and EMS for treatment.
Authorities are searching for a suspect described as a man between 5 feet 8 inches and 5 feet 10 inches tall. He was last seen wearing gray pants, gray shoes, and a black coat.
