Bricks, powerlines and ferns littered an alleyway along 5th Street in Northwest, D.C., Saturday evening after the wall of a two-story building caved in and collapsed, fire officials said.

Crews used special listening equipment and dogs to search the rubble for anyone potentially trapped underneath. Both of the searches came back negative, and crews continued to assess the damage caused to power lines and utilities.

No injuries were reported, according to officials. Photos shared by D.C. Fire & EMS showed firefighters marveling at the odd sight of the collapsed rubble.

It is still unknown what caused the structure to give in.
