Walla Walla Asset Building Coalition Members

The October 2008 kick-off, which took place at Walla Walla Community College, was attended by more than 40 leaders from the following spheres of community life: state, county and city, government; banking; business; higher education; philanthropic; religious; media; human service and other not-for-profit. In addition, representatives of citizens’ organizations participated.
Because of the WWABC’s newness, we have not yet established formal membership requirements.
Among the participants in the EITC Work Group are representatives from: AARP Tax Aide Program, DSHS, Walla Walla Housing Authority, the Latino-American Forum, WWCC, the Blue Mountain Community Foundation, the local public transit authority, United Way, and the interfaith poverty network.
Among the participants in the Savings Work Group are representatives from: Banner Bank, Baker Boyer Bank, AmericanWest Bank, Community Bank, Blue Mountain Credit Union, and the Blue Mountain Community Foundation.
Among the participants in the Financial Education Work Group are representatives from: Walla Walla Chamber of Commerce, the Walla Walla Union-Bulletin, several banks, and the YWCA.
